Mental Health Consultation for Infant & Early Childhood Professionals

Serving Children Ages 0-5

AIMH HI is providing a no-cost and confidential Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation service for providers statewide who are serving children ages 0-5 impacted by the Maui Wildfires.

We are able to provide this consultation to ANY provider who is serving a child, aged 0-5, who was impacted by the wildfires of August 2023. Providers may live across the state of Hawai’i, as we know many children and families were displaced and moved to other islands. A few examples of providers we believe may benefit from this service are teachers, family childcare providers, case workers, home visitors, special needs, medical professionals, peer support, navigation services, program directors, and the many other professions who support young children.

This service is staffed by Licensed Clinical Social Workers, based on Oʻahu, who have provided mental health consultation on Maui since 2022. Our team is comprised of Infant and Early Childhood Endorsed professionals, who are specialized in understanding the mental health needs of our youngest. AIMH HI has a network of providers from varying professions who we are connected to and remain up to date with national and local resources and services available to those impacted by the wildfires. We are partnered with Maui-based providers who are able to provide support beyond the consultative process.
