Joining AIMH-HI demonstrates a commitment to being a part of a growing movement dedicated to providing support for healthy relationships and the programs, policies, practices and people who promote them.
As a member, you will be a critical partner in helping us promote the social and emotional wellbeing of Hawaii’s youngest keiki, become part of a community of practice to support children’s healthy development, and help us build a stronger infant and early childhood mental health (IECMH) system of care for children and families in Hawaii.
Efforts you can be a part of include:
- Building a strong viable organization that is a go-to community resource and leading advocate for keiki in Hawaii.
- Increasing competence in IECMH for diverse people across a breadth of settings by building a well-trained work force through learning communities, trainings and endorsement cohorts.
- Aligning systems that affect children and families to increase awareness of IECMH, build common language and practice across settings that work with young children, and connect partners to one another.
- Volunteering on potential projects to contribute to our work (e.g., quarterly newsletters, quarterly networking groups, posting articles on website, annual IECMH Summit planning).
